Reports emerged on Saturday, claiming that Mark got the sum of 10.7 billion naira from the deal.
A statement signed by James Oche, coordinator of the organisation insisted that Mark was never involved in the shady deal.
Oche warned those behind the story to desist from feeding the public with lies.
“But we are
not worried. They have done their worst using the instrumentality of the
appeal tribunal and we are ready for the rerun they proposed . We state
without any iota of doubt that any day, any time , our leader, Senator
Mark remain the rallying point for the Idoma nation, they will vote for
him any day.
“We are not deterred by this unabating and truly
mischievous and unwarranted assaults on our leader. It only strengthens
our resolve that our leader is the Icon and Iroko that shields the Idoma
nation. We cannot be cowed by the barrage of conspiracy.
“We
shall match on to victory with our leader. We challenge the promoters
of this conspiracy to come up with evidence of their allegations.”
