The passengers in a bus on the Ikorodu Road, Lagos State, were shocked after some armed men in a Toyota Camry waylaid their vehicle and killed one of the passenger.
A 40-year-old passenger, name given as Olusola Bamidele, was reportedly dragged down from the bus and butchered.
The men were said to have left him in the pool of his blood and drove off in their car.
The driver and the conductor rushed the victim to the Ikorodu General Hospital where he was confirmed dead on arrival.
It was gathered that policemen from the Owode Onirin division later deposited the corpse in a mortuary.
