President Muhammadu Buhari will depart Abuja on Friday for Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt to participate in the Business for Africa, Egypt and the World Forum.

A statement by the president’s spokesman, Femi Adesina, said the forum, which opens in the Egyptian resort town on Saturday, is organized by the Egyptian government under the auspices of the African Union Commission.

Competing with 31 countries, Egypt ranked last in internet connection speed just after India and Nigeria with an average speed for fixed connections standing at 1.7 MBPS, according to a report released by We Are Social entitled "Digital in 2016".

South Korea came on top of the list with the highest internet speed with an average of 20.5 MBPS.

President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria and President Ali Bongo Ondimba of Gabon will be some of the key speakers at the Africa 2016 investment forum, hosted by HE President of Egypt, H.E. Abdel Fateh El-Sisi.

The two-day meeting in Sharm el Sheikh, will bring together over 800 high level government and business leaders to discuss projects and ventures across a range of sectors. Day one will see African Heads of States sharing their views on a range of topics in the opening Presidential Roundtable discussion.
