The National Union of Air Transport Employees ,NUATE, has revealed that foreign airlines plan to sack about two thousand (2,000) Nigerian workers due to what they claimed is their inability to transfer their earnings to their respective home countries to meet operational costs in accordance with international rules because of new Central Bank of Nigeria , CBN, policy on forex and fund transfer.

Residents of six riverine communities in Abaji Area Council, Abuja, have appealed to the chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Abdulrahman Ajiya, to liaise with the FCT Administration on the construction of a bridge across the River Gurara when elected into office.
The residents of Alu, Mamagi, Mawogi, Pachuwa, Yewuni and Ebagi riverine communities in Abaji Area Council, made the request when the APC chairmanship candidate visited the community on Thursday.
Kano State government has said that it would support current effort by the Federal Government to carve out grazing reserve for herdsmen across the country.

Federal Government has been called upon to declare state of emergency in the oil and gas sectors for the benefit of the country.

Justice Mohammed Idris of a Federal High Court in Lagos will on February 22, decide whether or not to stay further proceedings in a suit instituted by a lawyer, Toluwani Adebiyi against the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), over the recent hike in electricity tariff.
